Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping Information

UpholsterySupplyOnline.com ships from our warehouse in Bakersfield, California. Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days.

We use the shipping carrier that provides the best combination of cost and service for your order. We primarily ship via:

  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • Golden State Overnight (especially for California & neighboring state deliveries)
  • USPS

Our website shipping calculator uses FedEx rates. However, we may use other carriers depending on the item and destination. Some items have adjusted (higher) weights to accurately reflect dimensional weight and special handling fees charged by carriers. If a shipping checkout quote seems wrong or too high, feel free to call. 

Shipping Estimates

Shipping times vary by location and carrier:

  • California: Usually 1-3 business days (Golden State Overnight)
  • Rest of USA: Typically 2-7 business days


We currently ship only within the United States.

Returns & Refunds

All items must be inspected upon receipt and before cutting. We only accept returns in the following situations:

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Items shipped in error (wrong item sent)

We do NOT accept returns on:

  • Any fabric that has been cut
  • Used or installed items
  • Dirty or damaged items (by customer)

If approved, you can return the item by logging into your account, going to “Complete Orders”, and clicking “Return Item(s)”. We will notify you by email once the return is processed.

Damaged Items

Please inspect your shipment immediately. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the issue quickly (replacement or refund).
